研究經(jīng)驗
已經(jīng)從事人因工程(Human Factors), 人機交互, 系統(tǒng)與產(chǎn)品設計的研究工作十多年。 包括基于人類神經(jīng)機制的行為和生理指標的計算模型建模,并將這些計算模型應用于智能系統(tǒng)與產(chǎn)品設計。同時, 也主持過多個人機交互系統(tǒng)/產(chǎn)品設計的實驗研究,并熟悉北美與中國人因工程學系統(tǒng)與產(chǎn)品設計標準, 及相關汽車/交通安全設計標準。
目前在發(fā)表33 篇論文,其中包括17 篇期刊論文(含10篇人因工程和心理學領域國際著名學術期刊論文)和16 篇國際會議論文。 SCI/EI收錄情況: 9篇SCI論文 (其中第一作者7篇) 和6篇EI論文 (其中第一作者5篇, 會議論文5篇)。
曾經(jīng)為國際與中國企業(yè)做過相關人因工程與系統(tǒng)/產(chǎn)品設計研究和咨詢, 包括美國聯(lián)邦航空管理局(FAA), 英特爾(Intel), 美國霍尼維爾公司(Honeywell), 聯(lián)想 (Lenovo) 等。
指導學生與教授核心課程
目前指導博士生6人和碩士生1名(已畢業(yè)碩士1名), 并在美國著名大學為近300名研究生和本科生主講過:

- 人類信息處理與工程心理學
- 離散系統(tǒng)仿真實驗
在中國科學院, 吳昌旭也給50多名研究生教授過人機交互與人機系統(tǒng)/產(chǎn)品設計課程。
專業(yè)活動, 項目與獲獎
目前擔任多個人因與人機交互學術領域主要學學術期刊的特約評審人,包括 Applied Ergonomics, Injury Prevention, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (Part A), and IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems。 多個項目基金評委,包括荷蘭科學基金評委, UB2020基金評委。 在2005年美國人因與工效學年會上擔任“Human Performance Modeling(人類行為建模)”分會副主席。
獲得并主持UB2020 交叉學科研究發(fā)展基金資助項目一項, 獲得并主持密歇根大學交通研究院(UMTRI)博士研究計劃項目一項, 美國聯(lián)邦航空管理局(FAA)人因工程學專家組成員資助, 美國國家自然科學基金(NSF)會議旅行資助。
在紐約州立大學獲得UUP專業(yè)發(fā)展獎, 在密歇根大學獲得美國工程教育優(yōu)秀教學獎, 優(yōu)秀學生導師提名獎, 在國內(nèi)學習期間也獲得過多項優(yōu)秀獎學金, 包括浙江省優(yōu)秀畢業(yè)生, 浙江大學優(yōu)秀畢業(yè)生, 光華獎學金, 中科院地奧獎學金,香港董氏獎學金等。
